Job summary

NMDC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Geotechnical Engineer to support tenders and projects. You will organize geotechnical work and data for operating business units, and provide analysis for GIRs and related reports.

Responsibilities include assessing soil parameters, reviewing third party designs, and ensuring design compliance with QA/QC standards. Collaboration with customers and project teams is essential to deliver safe, compliant structures on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Coastal) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Engineering & Design in related industries.

Responsibilities

• Analyse geotechnical data and prepare a Geotechnical Interpretative Report (GIR).
• Analyse geotechnical findings, perform calculations and prepare data reports for the Manager.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations effectively.
• Review geotechnical design developed by third party consultants.
• Review construction design proposals and verify geotechnical aspects.
• Develop design drawings and specifications for construction projects.
• Analyse soil parameters and assess stability of structures under normal and seismic conditions.
• Interact with customers and team members to complete projects on time.
• Assist with design of structures using specialized software or calculations.
