Job summary

GEOSCIENCE TESTING LABORATORY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Geotechnical Supervisor to oversee soil investigations and ground improvement works. You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, surveyors, and testing laboratories to ensure safety and compliance with project specs.

The role requires a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering background with 5 years of site supervision experience and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical site supervision experience.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise soil investigation, excavation, backfilling, compaction, and ground improvement works
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, surveyors, and testing laboratories
• Monitor site activities, manpower, equipment, quality, and progress
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and HSE requirements
• Conduct inspections and maintain daily site and testing records
• Identify ground site issues and coordinate solutions with the engineering team
• Ensure proper testing, sampling, and documentation of geotechnical works
