Job summary

Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to design and build high-performance, accessible web interfaces for our immersive attractions. You will implement guest-facing solutions using ReactJS/Next.js and integrate with Sitecore Experience Platform, delivering fast, responsive experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own component libraries, ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, and contribute to testing and CI/CD practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years frontend development experience
• 2–3 years specializing in ReactJS
• Fluent in core JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient in SSR and basic SSG concepts
• Experience with Node.js and NPM scripts
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices and Agile/SCRUM

Responsibilities

Job Summary

At Miral Experiences, you will design and build high-performance, accessible front-end solutions that power our world-class theme parks and attractions on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Frontend Developer in our Experience Platform team, you’ll architect guest-facing digital products using ReactJS and Next.js, ensuring seamless integration with our Sitecore Experience Platform. Your expertise will create elegant, responsive interfaces that deliver fast and intuitive web experiences, while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive feature development. You’ll focus on crafting robust UI components and maintaining scalability, leveraging methodologies like Redux and Agile to deliver impactful digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Design and develop pixel-perfect, responsive guest-facing interfaces using ReactJS and Next.js, converting Figma designs into high-quality, interactive code.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST/GraphQL APIs and back-end services following established React/TypeScript practices.

Component Architecture

• Develop reusable component libraries as part of a shared design system, applying Hooks and higher-order compositions for scalability.
• Maintain and enhance component documentation (e.g., Storybook) to ensure consistency and usability across the team.

Performance & Accessibility

• Optimize components for performance across devices and browsers while monitoring and improving Core Web Vitals compliance.
• Ensure full WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards (semantic HTML, ARIA) and cross-browser responsiveness.
• Implement front-end security best practices, including XSS/CSRF mitigations.

Testing & Quality

• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle—conception, deployment, and continuous improvement—with rigorous unit testing via Jest and React Testing Library.
• Collaborate with QA to design integration and end-to-end testing frameworks, troubleshooting issues and delivering high-quality solutions.

Agile & Standards

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Adhere to coding standards and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) while maintaining rigorous compliance with Sitecore Experience Platform procedures.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• 5–8 years of frontend development experience with 2–3 years specializing in ReactJS
• Fluent in core JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Firm grasp of React fundamentals: JSX, Virtual DOM, components (stateless/stateful), lifecycle methods, and Hooks
• Proven ability to write unit tests (Jest + React Testing Library, Enzyme)
• Understanding of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and basic SSG (Static Site Generation)
• Experience with Node.js and NPM scripts
• Proficient in Agile/SCRUM methodologies
