Job summary

Al Boom Marine, a long-standing retail and e-commerce group in the GCC, seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce in the Dubai UAE region.

You will own FP&A, accounting, taxation and VAT compliance, develop dashboards, mentor the finance team, and partner with senior leaders to drive profitability and growth while ensuring financial integrity and tight control across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or related field required.
• Mandatory professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA).
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting/financial management experience; 3–5 years in leadership.
• Retail sector experience, multi-store/multi-channel or franchise preferred; GCC/MENA desirable.
• Strong ERP/Excel/financial modelling skills; proficiency with BI tools and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across channels.
• Provide actionable insights on performance, variance analysis and KPIs.
• Partner with executives to support strategic decisions and profitability.
• Develop dashboards, financial models, and management reporting.
• Ensure UAE VAT compliance, tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on regulatory changes and risks.
• Support finance, pricing, and commercial teams with analysis and plans.
• Monitor working capital, inventory, and cash flow; drive cost optimization.
• Lead and mentor finance team; stakeholder management with auditors and banks.
• Oversee ERP implementations and automation of reporting processes.
