Job summary

Al Boom Marine is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee FP&A, accounting, taxation, and VAT compliance across GCC channels. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives for Retail, Wholesale, and E‑commerce, driving profitability while mentoring the finance team and coordinating with auditors and authorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
Professional accounting qualification mandatory; MBA in Finance an advantage.
8–12+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Retail sector experience across multi-store, multi-channel or franchise environments preferred.
GCC/MENA region experience desirable with strong VAT/tax understanding.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics), advanced Excel and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across all channels.
Provide actionable insights on performance, variance analysis, and key drivers.
Partner with business heads to support strategic decisions and profitability.
Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and financial models.
Ensure UAE VAT compliance, manage filings, reconciliations and audits.
Lead system upgrades or ERP implementations and automate reporting.
