Job summary

Crescent Petroleum is seeking a Senior Fluids Engineer to provide technical leadership for drilling fluids, solids control, and waste management across exploration to development wells in the UAE. You will own the fluids Basis of Design, drive performance improvements, and ensure HSE compliance across the well lifecycle.

This role requires 12–15 years of progressive fluids experience with at least 5 years in a senior or coordinating role, and familiarity with sour gas and high-H2S environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
• 12–15 years of progressive fluids-related experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/coordinating or managerial role.
• Experience in sour-gas / high-H2S carbonate environments is advantageous.
• Experience in the Middle East or Kurdistan Region of Iraq is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for drilling fluids, solids control, and waste management activities.
• Manage fluids contractors and drive cost and performance improvements.
• Ensure fluids and waste management operations comply with environmental requirements and regulations.
• Prepare and own the fluids sections of Basis of Design and Drilling Fluids Programs.
• Collaborate with Drilling, Completions, and Well Testing engineers to align programs with well objectives.
• Develop contingency plans and write MOC documents for operational changes.
• Lead contractor audits and monitor daily fluids parameters.”
• Maintain fluids cost tracking and communicate well updates to contractors.
