American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Flow Cytometry Scientist to perform high-complexity flow cytometry testing within the approved laboratory scope. You will handle specimen assessment, panel preparation, staining, instrument setup, data acquisition, and analysis to deliver accurate results for diagnosis and monitoring.

The role requires strong knowledge of immunophenotyping, gating strategies, and quality control, with responsibility for validation activities and collaboration with Pathology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Current DHA license/eligibility or UAE recognized equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, gating, compensation, and QC.

Responsabilités

• Performs high-complexity flow cytometry testing across the test menu including MRD and CD34 enumeration.
• Reviews specimens and related data; ensures proper specimen handling per policy.
• Operates and maintains flow cytometers; documents daily performance checks.
• Analyzes data with validated gating; escalates cases to Pathologist for clinical interpretation.
• Supports assay validation, verification, and quality management initiatives.
• Mentors students and trainees.
