American Hospital Dubai seeks a Flow Cytometry Scientist to perform high‑complexity flow cytometry testing for diagnostic, prognostic, and disease monitoring within approved lab scope. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of flow cytometry principles, immunophenotyping, fluorochromes, panels, compensation, gating, QC, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CAP, DHA, JCI, ISO 15189 standards is preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills with emphasis on patient data integrity.

Aufgaben

• Performs high-complexity flow cytometry testing within the approved menu (hematolymphoid immunophenotyping, lymphocyte subsets, CD34 enumeration, PNH, MRD, etc.).
• Reviews specimen data and coordinates with outreach labs on orders; escalates issues per policy.
• Prepares specimens and antibody panels, conducts staining, and applies controls for reliable results.
• Operates, calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots flow cytometers and related equipment; documents performance checks.
• Analyzes data with validated gating strategies; escalates cases needing clinical interpretation to Pathologist/Hematopathologist.
• Supports validation/verification of new assays, panels, instruments, and methodology changes.
• Maintains Laboratory Information System documentation, specimen traceability, data integrity, and confidentiality.
• Maintains adequate stocks of reagents, controls, and consumables; escalates supply risks.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to students and trainees.
