Safad is seeking a dedicated Design Engineer to lead fire protection and related systems design in Abu Dhabi. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, NFPA compliance, and strong AutoCAD drafting skills to produce compliant submittals and shop drawings.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure design packages meet project specs, local regulations, and NFPA standards, delivering accurate calculations, layouts, and data sheets under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on design experience in engineering/construction.
• Proven track record with major industry leaders (e.g., NAFFCO or similar).
• In-depth knowledge and practical design of NFPA codes.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering calculations, system sizing, pressure drop, and load estimations per NFPA.
• Design complete engineering systems (Fire Protection, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Electrical).
• Prepare submittals, material specs, design basis reports, and data sheets per NFPA guidelines.
