Job summary

NAFFCO Careers is seeking an AutoCAD Draughtsman for fire protection systems in Dubai. You will prepare detailed drawings for sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, and other components, while coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.

The role requires interpreting design specs, NFPA/BS standards, and local authority requirements, with documentation support through project delivery and handover phases.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting or related field.
• Experience reading architectural and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in CAD documentation.
• Experience with fire protection systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems including sprinklers, risers, hydrants, deluge and foam systems.
• Develop layouts, sections, elevations, schematics, isometrics and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings.
• Identify clashes and support design coordination meetings.
• Update drawings and provide technical clarifications to site teams.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control records.
