Job summary

LEAMS Education Services (Gamma Holdings Ltd.) in Dubai seeks a skilled Fire Protection System Draughtsman to prepare detailed drawings for fire protection systems in line with project specs, NFPA standards, and UAE Civil Defence rules.

The role requires a Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting and 2–4 years of fire protection drafting experience, with AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency. UAE project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in fire protection drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Civil Defence submissions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fire protection shop, installation, and as-built drawings for sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant, wet riser, standpipe, and fire pump systems.
• Develop layouts, sections, schematics, riser diagrams, and installation details.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical services.
• Incorporate consultant comments, site modifications, and authority requirements.
• Prepare material take-off and quantity schedules as required.
• Ensure drawings comply with NFPA, UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, and Civil Defence requirements.
