Job summary

Agile Consultants in the UAE seeks a Senior Fire and Life Safety Design & Estimation Engineer to lead design, estimation, and tendering for Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, and Clean Agent Gas suppression systems. You will ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defense, DEWA/TAQA standards, and NFPA codes while supporting bid submissions and execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
8–10 years of Fire & Life Safety System design and estimation experience.
Experience with DEWA, TAQA, industrial, utility, power, oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, and Gas Suppression Systems.
Familiarity with UAE Civil Defense, DEWA, TAQA, NFPA and international standards.

Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQ, and material take-offs.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and manufacturers.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, clarifications, and bid documentation.
Design Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, and Gas Suppression Systems per standards.
Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal disciplines.
Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs.
Support tender evaluation, procurement, and project handover.
