Job summary

Hoxton Wealth Group is seeking a Software Engineer to build and evolve core fintech applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers. You will independently deliver complex features end-to-end, integrate third-party systems, and influence technical direction in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience in fintech or regulated settings, with strong ownership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of software engineering experience, preferably fintech or regulated environments.
• Ability to own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers.
• Experience integrating third-party systems and maintaining security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Design and implement REST APIs with domain modelling, versioning, and error handling.
• Integrate third-party systems (payment gateways, KYC/e-Sign, banking rails) and ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and platform teams; participate in code reviews.
