You will work within the Group Reporting & Tax team to deliver accurate month-end close, perform in-depth reconciliations, and provide insightful commentary for monthly and annual statements.

The role requires expertise in IFRS, strong collaboration with auditors, and a hands-on approach to solving complex accounting issues

Qualifikationen

• Qualified ACA or CFA preferred, or 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting.
• Experience in IFRS accounting and reporting, audit, and external reporting.
• Experience with Big 4 audit firms.
• Experience in MI reporting and automating processes.
• Ability to operate across organization levels with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Understanding of project plans and ability to articulate roles, goals and timelines.
• Strong relationship management with internal stakeholders to improve performance.

Aufgaben

• Ensure smooth month-end close including adjustments, reconciliations, audit trail and data management.
• Ensure proper accounting under IFRS at group level including country-specific requirements.
• Perform reconciliations (derivatives, borrowings, ECL, impairments, etc.) and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare disclosures in financial statements and commentary for reporting packs.
• Support auditors and provide explanations for queries from statutory/internal auditors.
• Assist in quarterly/annual statements and review accounting policies with industry practices.
