Job summary

Kreston Awni Farsakh & Co. in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Due Diligence Consultant to join its advisory team.

The role focuses on financial due diligence assignments in connection with acquisitions, disposals, investments and other corporate transactions. You will lead engagements from planning through completion, analyse historical performance, perform earnings quality and working capital analyses, identify risks, and present findings to clients and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably including financial due diligence or transaction advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, IFRS and financial analysis.
• Experience with quality of earnings, working capital and net debt analysis.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify issues that may impact transaction value.
• UAE experience and knowledge of the local business environment would be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively under transaction-driven deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute financial due diligence engagements from planning through to completion.
• Analyse historical financial performance, revenue, profitability, cash flows and working capital.
• Perform quality of earnings, net debt and normalised working capital analysis.
• Identify financial, accounting, tax and commercial risks that may affect transaction value.
• Review management forecasts and assess the reasonableness of key assumptions.
• Analyse customer concentration, recurring revenue, margins and key cost drivers.
• Identify non-recurring, related-party and unusual transactions and propose normalisation adjustments.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis, schedules and due diligence reports.
• Present key findings and transaction issues to clients, management and senior stakeholders.
• Manage junior team members and review their work.
• Liaise with target-company management, auditors, advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
