Job summary

Kreston Awni Farsakh & Co. in Dubai seeks a Senior Auditor to join its UAE audit team. The role involves planning and executing engagements, supervising juniors, and delivering high-quality work in line with IFRS, ISA, and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of external audit experience, strong English communication, and a professional qualification such as ACCA/CA/CPA. UAE experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–6 years of external audit experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• UAE tax/regulatory knowledge would be an advantage.
• ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
• Identify audit issues and discuss findings with clients and management.
• Supervise and review the work of junior audit staff.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing management letters and audit reports.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and engagement teams.
• Assist managers and partners with complex accounting and audit matters.
