Job summary

Bybit in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on Senior Finance Specialist to join our finance team. You will drive accurate monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance-sheet scheduling.

You will reconcile bank, vendor, and payment activity, support VAT reporting, and assist with corporate tax return preparation, audits, and compliance. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with ERP and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience with close and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, account reconciliations and balance-sheet schedules.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment activity, vendor balances and other assigned accounts; investigate differences and follow through to resolution.
• Perform trade and wallet reconciliations as part of the month-end close, comparing trade-level raw data from the Big Data platform with records in NetSuite (NS), reconciling wallet activity and balances, and investigating and resolving any discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Review payment requests, invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations, return schedules and supporting documentation, working with the Finance Manager and external tax advisers as needed.
• Assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns.
