Qualifications

• Duties include accounts receivable and payable processing, bank reconciliations, VAT support, and IFRS reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems for invoicing and payments.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and assist in month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly rent invoices using the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of unit size and rent per sq. ft., annual escalations, service charge recoveries, and utility recharges.
• Process post-dated cheques from tenants and maintain cheque register.
• Monitor bank accounts for rent collections and reconcile receipts daily.
• Follow up on overdue rent payments and prepare AR aging reports.
• Receive and verify supplier invoices, code to GL, and prepare payment runs for Finance Director.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations and petty cash reimbursements; maintain security deposit ledger.
• Prepare and post journal entries for rent revenue recognition, depreciation, and accruals; assist month-end closing.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations and VAT return workings for FTA submission.
• Assist in IFRS reporting and audit support.
