Job summary

Rakbank invites a senior finance business partner to join our Retail Banking finance team in the UAE. You will partner with business leaders to shape financial strategy, plans and performance, delivering insightful commentary on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.

Responsibilities include building models for strategic scenarios, assessing product profitability, and leading a finance team. You’ll interact with senior stakeholders and help drive growth and governance across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional certification preferred (CMA/CPA/CFA).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar finance business partnering role within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and Retail Banking products and services.
• Experience interpreting complex financial information and translating it into clear, practical business insight.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making across Retail Banking.
• Develop financial strategies, plans, budgets and targets; monitor performance against them.
• Manage monthly accounting, reporting, and analysis of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Assess profitability by client, product and segment; identify growth opportunities.
• Build detailed models to evaluate business scenarios and financial impact.
• Support product launches with financial viability and amortization planning.
• Prepare executive packs and Retail Business Review packs for leadership.
• Track and report financial and non-financial KPIs for Retail Banking.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and liaise with auditors and regulators.
• Lead and mentor finance team; collaborate with IT on systems implementations.
• Conduct industry benchmarking to align bank-wide financial goals.
