Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Dubai with travel to international sites. You will service drilling equipment, diagnose control systems, and provide customer training.

The role requires PLC and HMI proficiency, plus strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills. Base location is within Dubai or Oman, with on-call travel and offshore/onshore site work as needed.

Qualifications

Must successfully complete a Fit for Work assessment prior to starting.
Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and software/controls systems including PLC-based panels and HMI interfaces.
Ability to travel internationally to client sites.
Team player with a drive to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Work in a competent, safe and professional manner for internal and external customers locally and internationally.
Test and install Forum Energy Technologies drilling equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and calibrate electronic control systems and PLCs.
Provide training to customer employees after installation.
Ensure safety and compliance with drilling guidelines and procedures.
