Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks a Feed Operations Manager to plan and optimize feed production, procurement, storage, and distribution for livestock operations. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across the value chain.

The role requires a strong background in animal science, feed safety, and operations management, with 5–8 years of relevant experience and 2–3 years in leadership. Applicable certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Professional certifications in feed manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or feed safety are advantageous.
5–8 years of experience in feed production or livestock nutrition.
Minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience in poultry, dairy, cattle, sheep, goat, or integrated livestock operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee daily feed production, procurement, storage, and distribution activities.
Ensure uninterrupted feed availability for all livestock operations.
Develop production schedules based on farm demand and priorities.
Monitor feed consumption and optimize allocation across farms.
Coordinate with procurement to source quality materials.
Supervise feed mill personnel and ensure targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Monitor equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with feed safety regulations and sanitation standards.
