Job summary

FlexiRemote Solutions is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee operations in Abu-Dhabi. The role requires strong farming expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to drive efficiency on large-scale farms.

The ideal candidate will plan planting, harvesting, irrigation, budgeting, and staff supervision while maintaining records and staying current with industry practices. English fluency is essential; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience on a farm with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven knowledge of farming techniques and practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work long hours during peak seasons.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of any other language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate farm activities such as planting, harvesting and irrigation.
• Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures when necessary.
• Manage the farm budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Supervise and train farm workers to ensure efficient performance.
• Maintain records of crop yields, expenses and other important data.
• Oversee the maintenance of farm equipment and facilities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in farming techniques.
