Job summary

Abroad Work in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Farm Supervisor to oversee daily farm operations, supervise staff, monitor crop health, maintain records, and ensure safety compliance in a demanding outdoor environment.

The ideal candidate has proven supervision experience, deep farming knowledge for Abu Dhabi's climate, strong leadership, and the fitness to work outdoors long hours; own visa or ability to obtain one is required, plus experience with budgeting and cost planning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Farm Supervisor or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of farming techniques, equipment, and crops relevant to Abu Dhabi's climate.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively.
• Physically fit with the ability to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the farm, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops
• Train and manage a team of farm workers to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Monitor crop health and take necessary actions to prevent disease or pests
• Maintain proper record keeping for inventory, production, and expenses
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
• Assist in budget planning and management to optimize farm productivity
