Job summary

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Fujairah is seeking a senior Engineering & Facilities leader responsible for maintaining the building, grounds and plant, with a focus on safety, asset protection and energy efficiency.

You will manage budgets, capital projects and preventative maintenance while delivering services that meet guest and employee expectations, and you will lead the emergency response team to resolve facility issues promptly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 6 years in engineering/maintenance and technical HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.
Or a 2-year degree in Building/Construction, Engineering or Mechanics with 4 years of related experience and similar technical training.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering operations and budgets, aligning with property goals.
Oversee the physical plant including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems.
Administer service contracts and ensure life safety readiness.
Develop and implement energy conservation and maintenance strategies.
Lead the emergency response team and coordinate incident responses.
Monitor expenses and drive cost controls across departments.
Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
