Job summary

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Fujairah seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the property's maintenance, safety, and asset protection. You will manage the building, grounds, and all mechanical systems, ensuring reliable operations and energy efficiency.

The role requires budget ownership, long-range maintenance planning, and leadership of the emergency response team, with a focus on guest and associate safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in engineering and maintenance; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
• 2-year degree in Building/Construction, Engineering, Mechanics; 4 years experience in engineering/maintenance; HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Operations and Budgets, aligning with business strategy and objectives.
• Maintain property life safety systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct profitability efforts, monitor payroll and controllable expenses.
• Oversee capital expenditure goals and long-term asset protection plans.
• Lead human resources activities and foster effective team communication.
