Job summary

PwC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assurance – External Audit Manager (AWM & Insurance) to lead a flagship client portfolio and manage full audit cycles. You will drive project management, client relations, and adoption of audit tech to deliver high-quality audits.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in Big 4 external audits, with banking/insurance experience, ACCA/CA/ACA/CPA, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ISAs to external audits of financial services.
• Strong IFRS knowledge (IFRS9, IFRS17) and FS regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of audit technologies and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of a client portfolio and oversee day-to-day liaison.
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and guide teams.
• Manage large audits from planning to completion and meet deadlines.
• Advise on financial reporting and regulatory developments.
• Build client relationships at senior levels and present to boards.
