Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Expeditor to lead the project expediting team for ADNOC initiatives. You will coordinate between ADNOC, EPC contractors, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, monitor long-lead items, and drive recovery plans when schedules slip.

The role demands deep procurement process knowledge, strong contractor management, and a track record of delivering complex oil/gas projects. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 15+ years of oil & gas experience with expeditor role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC procurement systems (SAP/ARIBA preferred).
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with ICV compliance requirements.
• Risk assessment and supply chain management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project expediting team and activities.
• Review and approve expediting plans for procurement packages.
• Monitor purchase orders from award through final delivery.
• Identify long‑lead items requiring special attention.
• Ensure compliance with procurement schedules and milestones.
• Track supplier progress against schedules and milestones.
• Escalate delays and drive corrective actions with vendors.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and inspection teams for timely inspections.
• Ensure vendor documentation meets contract requirements.
