Job Purpose
The Senior Executive Content Review leads the advanced classification and regulatory assessment of complex, sensitive, and escalated audiovisual content across TV, OTT, film, gaming, publishing, and digital platforms. The role combines technical expertise with quality assurance responsibilities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and defensibility of classification decisions.
The role holder supports the Head of Content Review in refining methodologies, resolving borderline cases, mentoring Executive-level reviewers, and coordinating with Legal Oversight, Compliance, and Policy teams on cross-cutting issues. The role requires strong analytical judgment, advanced content discernment, and the ability to apply and refine classification frameworks in line with federal and local regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and classify complex, sensitive, or escalated media content in line with applicable regulations and classification standards.
- Assess content across different platforms, including film, TV, OTT, gaming, publishing, and digital media.
- Review cases involving cultural sensitivity, inappropriate content, misinformation, hate speech, or other regulatory concerns.
- Assess AI-generated, manipulated, or synthetic media and identify potential classification or compliance risks.
- Provide clear recommendations and justification for complex or escalated classification decisions.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure content review decisions are accurate, consistent, and properly documented.
- Support the improvement of content review procedures, classification guidelines, and working practices.
- Analyze content trends and emerging risks across different media platforms.
- Provide guidance and support to Content Review team members on complex cases.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Archives when required.
