Job summary

Dubai Media Council in Dubai is seeking a Chief Executive Content Review to lead advanced content classification and support regulatory decisions across publications, film, TV, OTT, and digital platforms.

The role requires senior judgment on complex content, guidance to reviewers, and strong Arabic and English communication; 5+ years in content review or media governance and a deep understanding of UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of content classification and review methodologies.
• Strong understanding of UAE cultural, legal, and ethical standards related to media content.
• Ability to assess complex, sensitive, and high-risk media content.
• Knowledge of AI-generated, synthetic, and manipulated media content.
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.
• Experience in quality assurance and peer review of classification decisions.
• Familiarity with content review systems and workflow tools.
• Strong communication, documentation, and advisory skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Review and classify complex, sensitive, high-risk, and escalated content across multiple media formats and platforms.
• Apply approved classification standards and regulatory requirements consistently and accurately.
• Provide recommendations on borderline, unusual, or precedent-setting content cases.
• Document classification decisions and supporting rationale in a clear and defensible manner.
• Review AI-generated, synthetic, manipulated, and emerging content formats and identify potential regulatory risks.
• Conduct quality checks and peer reviews to maintain consistency and accuracy across content review decisions.
• Provide technical guidance to Content Review colleagues and support the development of reviewer capabilities.
• Support the onboarding and training of new content reviewers.
• Monitor content review workloads, identify operational issues, and support workflow improvements.
• Provide advisory input to the Head of Content Review on cases requiring regulatory interpretation or policy-level decisions.
