Job summary

Masdar seeks an experienced Events Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of its annual sustainability prize events, including the Awards Ceremony and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

You will manage external agencies, drive budgets, logistics, and creative briefs with Brand/Communications, and report post-event outcomes. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in planning and managing corporate events, conferences, or exhibitions.
• Proven experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and vendors.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Zayed Sustainability Prize's annual events calendar
• Manage end-to-end delivery of flagship events, including the annual Awards Ceremony and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week activities
• Oversee external agencies, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality, budget, and timeline compliance
• Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, branding, production, technical requirements, and hospitality
• Develop creative briefs and event concepts in collaboration with Brand and Communications teams
• Monitor event budgets and proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Lead post-event evaluations and reporting to measure success and recommend improvements
