Job summary

Masdar, a global clean energy leader based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a senior events leader to oversee the Zayed Sustainability Prize's events portfolio. You will plan, coordinate and execute high-profile local, regional and international events, ensuring brand standards, budgets and stakeholder engagement objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in planning, managing and delivering corporate events, conferences, exhibitions or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Experience managing external agencies, suppliers and vendors with budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Experience delivering events within international, government, sustainability or corporate environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and implementation of the Zayed Sustainability Prize's annual events calendar.
• Identify and evaluate key local, regional and international events to strengthen visibility and global reach.
• Lead the planning and coordination of the Prize's participation in strategic global events.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for all Prize-led events with timelines and quality standards.
• Identify, manage and coordinate external agencies, suppliers and service providers for event delivery.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor onboarding in line with internal procedures.
• Monitor event budgets, timelines and deliverables, identifying risks and corrective actions.
• Lead post-event evaluations and reporting, capturing learnings and recommending improvements.
• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of flagship events including the Awards Ceremony and ADSW activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coordinated event requirements.
