Job summary

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is seeking a senior sales leader to oversee catering and group sales. You will manage events from booking to execution, forecast budgets, and build strong client relationships to drive repeat business.

You will collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to craft monthly forecasts and the annual business plan, while ensuring staffing levels match business demand and maintaining Dusit's renowned guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in a similar environment, preferably in a 5-star class.
• Excellent written and spoken English communications.
• Positive attitude with drive to excel and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution.
• Prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters and cost control.
• Establish and maintain rapport with clients, ensuring repeat business.
• Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
• Work with Director of Sales and Marketing to prepare monthly forecasts.
• Develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department.
• Achieve banquet and catering budget as per annual plan.
• Appraise and coach staff, ensuring adequate manpower and sales focus.
