Job summary

Global Process Systems Inc in Dubai seeks a seasoned Estimator to translate EPC tender documents into detailed cost estimates. You will review P&IDs, develop MTOs, and price materials, services, and subcontractor quotes to form a complete bid package.

The role requires a Bachelor in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering and at least 12 years in Oil & Gas, with strong knowledge of piping, valves, welding, and Excel-based estimating tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering required.
• 12+ years of Oil & Gas estimating experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and GA/P&IDs for MTOs and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of P&IDs into valve and instrument MTOs with minimal input from Process and Engineering.
• Interpretation of GAs & P&IDs into piping, E&I MTOs.
• Pricing of MTOs including solicitation of quotes from vendors.
• Work with Fabrication Yard for pricing of vessels, skids, fabrication etc.
• Own the bid book to provide complete EPC estimates.
• Develop estimating tools and procedures.
