Job summary

Dubai Holding Real Estate is seeking a seasoned cost estimator to support the development team in preparing high-level cost estimates and targets budgets. You will review plans, benchmark costs, and liaise with consultants and vendors to ensure realistic cost plans.

The role requires strong CAD/estimating tool experience, 6–8 years in construction estimation, and excellent stakeholder management skills to help deliver projects on budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience with at least 2 years as an estimator.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches.
• Familiarity with CAD software and estimating tools.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-level cost estimates to assist the business development team to meet deadlines.
• Review cost plans and identify variances vs client brief and design information.
• Prepare target budgets and meet overall budget expectations.
• Calculate major construction cost estimates and support feasibility studies.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to meet target budgets.
• Organize cost review meetings and obtain market quotations.
• Utilize estimating software and prepare BOQ pricing according to scope.
• Coordinate with Development and Design teams to prepare accurate estimates.
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on scope and pricing.
