Job summary

Modern Steel House Contracting LLC seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in warehouse and PEB construction to join our team in Dubai. You will handle cost estimates, BOQs, tender docs and on-site measurements for interim payments.

The role requires UAE experience, familiarity with FIDIC contracts, and proficiency in estimation software (CostX/Candy) and MS Excel. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for successful project cost control.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or related field.
Minimum UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor is required.
Proven experience in warehouse/PEB/steel structure projects.
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation and cost control.
Proficiency in estimation software like CostX or Candy and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs and tender documents for warehouse/PEB and commercial projects.
Measure and value work on site for interim payments.
Prepare and manage variations, claims and final accounts.
Review subcontractor quotations and negotiate rates.
Monitor costs against budget and report variances.
