Job summary

NADIA is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for UAE-based warehouse, PEB, steel structure, villa, and commercial projects. The role focuses on cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and cost control across multiple concurrent sites.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in UAE construction, proficiency with CostX/Candy, AutoCAD, and strong negotiation and analytical skills to manage complex tender and project cost activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience in warehouse construction, PEB, steel structure, and villa construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic AutoCAD.
• Experience with QS software such as CostX, Candy, or similar tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for warehouse, PEB, steel structure, villa, and commercial building projects.
• Measure and evaluate completed site works and prepare interim payment certificates.
• Manage variations, claims, and final project accounts.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, compare prices, and negotiate competitive rates.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and report cost variances.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, payment applications, and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist in tender preparation, including quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and responses to tender RFIs.
• Maintain accurate records of material quantities, labor costs, subcontractor expenses, and project expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable FIDIC conditions.
