Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in warehouse construction, PEB and steel structure projects to join our growing UAE team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years UAE experience, expertise in FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation and cost control, with proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD and QS software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Proven experience in warehouse construction, PEB, and steel structure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation, and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, basic AutoCAD, and QS software such as CostX, Candy, or similar.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for warehouse, PEB, and commercial building projects.
• Measure and value completed site works for Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
• Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and report cost variances.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, payment applications, and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist in tender submissions and respond to RFIs for ongoing tenders.
• Maintain accurate records of material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
