Job summary

Qualifications

• The role requires practical application of established concepts, practices, and procedures within the individual’s environmental specialty.
• Ability to work under general supervision to support EH&S activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical environmental, health, and safety activities under general supervision.
• Support compliance with established ES and H standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the assigned environmental specialty.
• Assist in developing environmental health and safety programs, systems, and procedures.
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of safety and health programs.
• Monitor workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and occupational health risks.
• Contribute to measures designed to prevent hazards and diseases that may arise within work areas.
• Investigate workplace accidents and injuries to establish relevant circumstances and safety concerns.
• Review complaints relating to workplace hazards and support appropriate investigation and follow-up.
• Contribute to maintaining effective environmental, health, and safety practices across assigned work activities.
