Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks an experienced internal audit professional to lead risk-based audits within Risk and Global Markets. You will partner with ERM teams, ensure robust governance, and drive action plans, reporting significant findings to management and the Audit Committee when needed.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years post-qualification experience in large financial institutions, and strong analytical, coaching, and communication skills to mentor junior staff and support UAE National

Qualifications

• Associate Chartered Accountant; bachelor's degree (STEM).
• Experience in internal audit, market risk, middle office, product control or operations in large banks.
• Knowledge of treasury, trading, and global markets is a plus.
• Good English report writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish risk universe and inputs for annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Assess governance, risk management and controls to reduce residual risk.
• Lead audits of ERM processes across markets and jurisdictions.
• Develop audit programs and maintain audit universe in collaboration with GIA.
• Provide ongoing consultancy to unit management for process improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of audit worksheets and management actions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain strong professional ethics.
