Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Auditor for Consumer, Private and Business Banking. You will lead and participate in audits, assess governance, risk management and internal controls, and act as a trusted partner to line management across FAB Group entities in the UAE.

Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking, strong knowledge of audit methodologies, and the ability to challenge practices while maintaining independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; professional audit qualifications are desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking/audit experience in a large organization.
• Experience with internal controls and risk assessment in consumer/private banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in audits covering Consumer, Private and Business Banking activities.
• Review FAB Group entities in the UAE and applicable international locations.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments for identified process streams.
• Develop and update audit programs within central audit management tools.
• Escalate significant or overdue issues to management and secure action plans.
• Provide guidance on governance, risk management, and internal control improvements.
• Discuss audit observations with Group Internal Audit management and business stakeholders.
• Ensure audit findings are supported by evidence and timely reporting is ensured.
