Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audits across the Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments within FAB Group, covering UAE and international operations. The role requires strong risk management, stakeholder engagement, and governance insights.

The successful candidate will guide junior colleagues, ensure timely audit deliverables, and contribute to strengthening internal controls across the bank’s global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Post-graduate qualification and/or professional certification desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with an International Bank or Big 4. Internal Audit exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of FAB Group Consumer, Private & Business Banking Segments across UAE and international offices.
• Provide input to Head of Audit on issues affecting FAB Group.
• Review audit worksheets and finalize audit reports within agreed timelines.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments for process streams and subsidiaries.
• Coach junior staff and promote best practices within GIA.
