Job summary

Global Process Systems Inc in Dubai seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams on oil and gas EPC projects, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

You will coordinate design, procurement, and construction interfaces, drive safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and mentor project teams through FEED to commissioning. The role demands senior leadership and client liaison across authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years in Oil & Gas or Petro-Chemical industry.
• Minimum of 7 years directing multi-discipline engineering design task forces.
• Significant project management experience in Engineering/Client organisations.
• Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design or EPC project in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in safe, effective delivery within budget and schedule.
• Prepare cost and manhour estimates for proposals.
• Coordinate inter-discipline interfaces and procurement communication.
• Provide technical support and resolve design issues.
• Promote safety, quality and cost-effective work practices.
• Oversee project documentation: specs, drawings, calculations, reports, MTOs, requisitions.
• Ensure timely inter-discipline document reviews to meet schedule.
• Represent the project with Clients, Sellers and Authorities as needed.
• Manage resources to ensure design meets Basis of Design requirements.
• Coordinate with Planners to report weekly progress to Client.
• Evaluate tenders/bids for technical compliance.
• Review Seller documentation in line with schedule.
• Prepare invoicing and coordinate with Project Services.
• Monitor progress and attend project meetings; report key issues.
• Check mahours/timesheets/overtime.
• Provide dual focal point for project communications with Client.
• Facilitate timely approval and issue of project deliverables.
• Input to 3rd Party Studies – HAZOP/HAZID/SIL/ Layout.
• Liaise with GPS management, Client, Certifying/Classification Authority.
• Support site construction, completions and commissioning teams.
