Job summary

ESOL Global in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Senior Network & Firewall Engineer (L3) to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade networks and security infrastructures. You will act as escalation point for complex incidents and lead migration projects in large environments.

The role requires 8-10+ years of experience, CCIE Enterprise certification, and strong Cisco routing, switching, and firewall skills, with exposure to data centers and regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering and security operations.
• CCIE Enterprise certification mandatory.
• Deep Cisco routing & switching expertise; OSPF/BGP/EIGRP.
• Experience with WAN/LAN, data center, and campus networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise network infrastructures.
• Manage advanced routing and switching with Cisco technologies.
• Configure, troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Deploy Layer 2/3 services including VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP.
• Administer Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower firewalls.
• Lead migrations, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
• Provide L3 escalation support for critical incidents.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
