Job summary

Penspen is urgently looking to hire Senior Engineer Construction Structural to oversee construction activities for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will supervise site execution, manage contractors, ensure HSE and quality compliance, monitor project progress, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 15+ years in Oil & Gas Construction with at least 5 years in a lead role, and offshore experience of 5+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 15+ years in oil & gas construction with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years offshore experience.
• Experience with structural steel fabrication, assembly and erection.
• Familiarity with international standards.
• PMC, EPC and fabrication yard project exposure preferred.
• ADNOC project experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural construction activities within the fabrication yard.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with project specs, HSE and quality standards.
• Monitor fabrication, assembly and erection to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, planning and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Review construction drawings, work packs and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications And Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years of offshore experience is mandatory.
• Experience with structural steel fabrication, assembly, and erection.
• Familiarity with international standards.
• PMC, EPC and fabrication yard projects experience will be preferred.
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
