Job summary

Dubai Airports is seeking a Senior Engineer - Assets Reliability & Systems (HVAC) to lead reliability efforts across HVAC assets, from design through disposal. The role emphasizes reducing downtime, improving energy and environmental performance, and deploying data-driven reliability tools.

You will drive root-cause analyses and implement preventive actions while coordinating with maintenance teams to optimize asset lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of equipment criticality and risk-based maintenance approaches such as FMECA and REM; Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in all HVAC related systems and asset classes.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, root cause analysis, and condition monitoring techniques.
• Proficiency in reliability tools and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reliability assessments and failure analysis for HVAC systems including chillers, hydraulic networks, pumping systems and BMS systems.
• Develop and implement reliability improvement plans to enhance asset performance and reduce downtime.
• Lead root cause investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle management.
• Monitor health and performance trends through data analysis and reliability tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable airport operations.
