Job summary

Protective is seeking a senior enterprise architect to lead technical direction and collaborate with business stakeholders, AI agents, and IT partners to propose scalable solutions in the Azure cloud.

You will develop long-term plans for solution architecture, define requirements with product owners, and drive governance and engineering practices within Agile teams while monitoring emerging trends in enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computing; 5+ years in app development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure.
• Familiar with CI/CD and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and develop specifications for enterprise solutions with product owners
• Drive engineering practices, delivery standards, and governance within Agile teams
• Design and develop integrated business solutions within the Azure cloud ecosystem
• Monitor emerging trends in enterprise application platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application development
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure technologies
• Strong experience with Dataverse and data modeling
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall SDLC methodologies
• Proficiency in development practices including code review, CI, and pair programming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI Builder, Copilot, or Azure AI services
• Microsoft Power Platform Certification(s)
• Experience with data migration and integration
• Experience in the Insurance industry or LOMA coursework
• ALMI designation
