Lifecare International is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, implement, and govern a scalable Azure-based AI solution. You will build and integrate AI agents with Odoo and M365, implement RAG pipelines, and manage data pipelines and API connections feeding live business data into the AI layer.
The role requires hands-on Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Python expertise, with a focus on ROI-driven AI use cases, on-premise/hybrid environments, and robust DR/BCP planning.
AI Platform & Integration
Design and develop AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio — integrating Odoo, M365, and business data sources to automate processes and expand AI adoption across departments
Implement RAG capabilities over internal documents and knowledge bases for accurate, grounded AI responses
Build and maintain data pipelines and API integrations that feed reliable, current business data into the AI layer
Own the governed AI platform (Azure AI Foundry, APIM) — security controls, usage monitoring, and cost management as adoption scales
Support multi-department rollout — working with business stakeholders to translate workflows and use cases into agent tools
Monitor platform performance, usage patterns, and feedback signals to continuously improve reliability and response quality
Infrastructure, Systems & DR
Manage cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, Entra ID) and provide hands‑on support for on-premise and hybrid environments including servers, networking, and end‑user systems
Support core business applications (Odoo, M365) and act as escalation point for technical issues across the stack
Own DR and BCP plans — backup schedules, recovery testing, RTO/RPO targets, and documented failover procedures
Enforce security controls across the environment — patching, vulnerability management, access reviews, and incident response
Support capacity planning, infrastructure cost optimisation, and lifecycle management
3–5 years in platform or AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years building LLM-based applications or AI agents
Hands‑on Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry experience — tool calling, agentic design, prompt engineering
Microsoft Copilot Studio or equivalent agent platform experience
Strong Python skills — API integration, backend services (FastAPI or equivalent), scripting and automation
RAG pipeline experience — Azure AI Search, vector embeddings, document chunking and retrieval
REST API integration with ERP or CRM platforms (Odoo, Dynamics, Salesforce or equivalent)
Solid Azure platform experience — compute, networking, Entra ID, APIM, Monitor, Log Analytics
Experience evaluating, prioritizing, and delivering AI use cases with measurable business outcomes and ROI.
Hands‑on with on‑premise/hybrid environments — Windows Server, Active Directory, networking fundamentals
DR/BCP design experience — backup and recovery, failover testing, RTO/RPO documentation
Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
Understanding of AI governance and compliance — PII handling, audit logging, content filtering, UAE regulatory context (ADHICS, PDPL) is a plus
M365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) is an advantage
Comfortable across a wide remit in a small team — can context‑switch between AI development and infrastructure support without losing quality
Self‑directed and proactive — identifies gaps and acts without waiting to be asked
Clear communicator — able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate (AI-103)
Copilot Studio Applied Skills (Advantage)
