Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Engineer - EMC/EMI for Halcon to support design, analysis, testing, and qualification of advanced electronic and RF systems for defence applications. The role centers on EMC/EMI compliance, E3, risk assessment, and system integration with cross‑functional teams.

The candidate will lead pre‑compliance and formal testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to newer engineers, ensuring compliance with military standards and program requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline.
6–8 years of experience in EMC/EMI engineering, RF systems, electromagnetic analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of EMC, EMI, E3, MIL-STD-461, and compliance methodologies.
Hands-on experience with RF/EMC test equipment and engineering tools.

Responsibilities

Conduct EMC/EMI analysis, testing, validation, and compliance activities for electronic and RF systems.
Lead pre-compliance and formal EMC testing including emissions, immunity, ESD, surge, radiated susceptibility, and conducted susceptibility.
Investigate EMC/EMI issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Develop test plans, technical reports, and compliance documentation while mentoring junior engineers.
