Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Engineer - Antenna and Communications for Halcon to lead the design, development, and validation of advanced antenna and RF systems for defence applications. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.

You will perform electromagnetic analysis, SDR development, and link-budget calculations, ensuring integration with larger defence platforms. A strong background in EM theory, RF propagation, and C/C++ tools is essential.

Qualifications

6–8 years of RF, antenna design, and wireless systems experience.
Strong expertise in antenna theory, electromagnetics, RF propagation, interference analysis, and system design.
Proficiency with CST, HFSS, MATLAB, and Simulink.

Responsibilities

Lead design, simulate, test, and optimize advanced antenna systems and RF subsystems for defence and missile applications.
Perform electromagnetic modelling, RF propagation analysis, link budget calculations, channel characterization, and interference assessments.
Develop and validate Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions, including signal processing, modulation techniques, and performance analysis.
Lead technical reviews, qualification testing, and cross-functional integration activities while mentoring junior engineers.
