Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Engineer - Microwave Design for Halcon to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced microwave and RF subsystems for radar and military applications. The role requires high-frequency circuit design, simulation, and multidisciplinary system integration, with mentorship to engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in RF, microwave, radar, or high-frequency system engineering.
Proven expertise in microwave subsystem design (RF front-ends, amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, synthesizers).
Proficiency with RF design and simulation tools (ADS, CST/HFSS, AWR, MATLAB, C/C++).

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of microwave circuits, RF front-ends, and high-frequency subsystems for radar and defence applications.
Perform electromagnetic modelling, RF simulation, performance analysis, and design optimisation to meet system requirements.
Plan and execute RF testing, subsystem integration, troubleshooting, verification, and qualification activities.
Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and mentor engineers to ensure engineering excellence and project success.
